REACT CHARITY EVENT FOR BRITISH HEART FOUNDATION

This month REACT have been busy growing their tashes in aid of the British Heart Foundation and have so far raised in the region of £400.

Not as dumb as they look!

Big Congratulations go to Colin, Drew and Jenna for graduating in the management training programme this year REACT put them through. Your hard work and patience paid off in the end!!! Jenna went onto win the Chamber of commerce award for best student in continuous training throughout her years of studies this year which is quite an achievement considering there were nearly 1500 students!!! Through their hard work Napier University has accepted them into year three in Business studies and Management. REACT will be starting up new training programmes for all our staff through the local West Lothian College and Napier University who we have found are excellent in staff development. The local college has proved to our staff that you are never too old to learn.......even for Colin!!!! We are sure that there new found skills will only assist our customer focus and help us maintain the excellent standards set and expected by React.

RED NOSE DAY

This year we have decided to raise money for Red Nose Day.

Drew Colin & Jenna will be going on a 24 hour fast on the 13th March 2009.


"We hope to raise £150 at least as this would provide 3 young people who have been homeless to complete a computer training qualification so they have the skills and confidence to find a job" Colin Duncan.


So if you're feeling generous dig deep and sponsor us as!

NEW VEHICLES

2008 has seen us add a record number of vehicles to our fleet across the entire range from Mercedes Sprinter vans to 7.5T trucks to 17 tonne trucks. These latest additions mean that we now operate one of the largest, most modern fleets in our sector of the transport industry. All these vehicles are the latest models having highly energy efficient, low emission engines which not only helps control our running costs but has environmental benefits too.


Scott Cargill, an LGV driver, who carries out one of our north of Scotland runs recently reached the significant milestone of 10 years with the Company. We are very grateful to him for his loyal service over the years.
